You Are Strange
Have you ever thought that some of the things that you do in your everyday life might seem strange in other places of the world? You might think that walking down the street with plugs in your ears connected to wires which are connected to a device that can play music, browse the internet, and even have some type of internet phone service is perfect normal, even ordinary. In other places in the world is might seem odd and even downright strange. Being able to recognize that this is the case, is called having a sociological imagination. This characteristic is very important to have in being able to understand other people without prejudging. It will also give people the whole picture of the other person and who they are. It might also help us understand who we are and where we stand by looking closer at our habits instead of just going through life without realizing why we do what we do.
