Bring Your Own Devices

When we go to work, we want to use the same devices that we use at home. It is just easier that way instead of having to use two or more different types of devices especially when trying to write or send internet fax from both and using different applications. This has been the emerging trend, the employees are using their own devices and sometimes even spending their own money to buy the software or hardware they need. IT departments are beginning to rethink the role they play in companies and are asking themselves if their job is to set rules or motivate people and get them to use things. Many companies are giving their employees choices on what to technology to use. Even with all the choices, there are no security problems. What are your thoughts? Do you usually bring your own devices to work?

You need your own phone and devices for phone services because you use them 24/7.

I use my iPhone everywhere. Listening to voice mails, reading internet faxes and more.
